Dilan started by playing secular music but reached a point in his life where he felt he was creating music without meaning, which to him did not make sense.

He chose to actively talk about his faith in God through his music, bringing in real life situations others could relate to.

He’s a member at Faith Celebration Centre in Marburg.

After matriculating from Marburg Secondary, he pursued his music career by launching his first CD, called ‘PUSH’.

He went on to host events and even launched a clothing line.

Last year he was invited to the Crown Gospel Awards, hosted by SABC.

There he teamed up with super-producer Ghraphytie, as well as with artists like Ricardo and Lucky KiKi, to release more tracks from his album.

Some of these songs included ‘Alright’ and ‘Pain’.

Dilan has signed with Rockwill Entertainment, and along with Ghraphytie and Sim Jazz, is now a name to look out for.

His latest single, ‘LOVE’, was released a few weeks ago.

“It’s a song about the power of love in our lives, personal relationships, the community at large and praying for the government,” said Dilan.

He chooses to sing about ‘agape’ love, the kind of unconditional love God has for His people and for Dilan the most real kind of love there is.

The song, produced by Ghraphytie, can be found online – just a search away.

A music video is set to be released next month.
