St Martin de Porres School, which caters for deaf and intellectually differently-abled learners, recently received a brand-new 36-seater bus from the Department of Basic Education.
The bus was one of 15 handed over to special needs schools across the province by MEC for Education-KZN Kwazi Mshengu, and Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule.

The presentation took place at Schola Amoris School in Umzinto last week.
The school thanks the director of education in the Ugu District William Sibiya and SEM Kanthan Appalraju for facilitating the acquisition of the bus.
