A man was arrested in Acacia Road, Sea Park on Tuesday this week for being in possession of an unlicensed homemade firearm.
The arrest was a result of a joint operation by Lazer 911 Security and police.

Police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said the firearm was confiscated.
“The man (43) appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Wednesday), and the case was postponed for further investigation.”
