Business prayer breakfast provides food for thought

The Lower South Coast Women in Business Forum held a successful ‘Business Prayer Breakfast’ at Stages Restaurant recently.

Many of the business people who attended the event echoed a similar sentiment in that this breakfast gave them a chance to set aside the rush of their daily lives and pause with humility before God.

Ms Singh reminded guests that doing business God’s way included the utilisation of the Bible as a learning tool to create, expand and maintain business.

“With the Bible, we acquire the natural power within us to develop the bright light God gives us to success, prosperity and love. As God reveals in detail His principles to you, a traditional business plan must follow to maintain the business idea,” she explained.

She further said God empowers and allows you to comply with the forces of traditional business methods, using His principles to control the success of your destiny and overall success. “When we follow His ways, we live an abundant, successful and blessed life.”

In his address, estate planner Paul Bekker of Port Edward said that creating a comprehensive estate plan to deal with your assets and provide for your loved ones after your death is an important financial duty.
