JUST IN: Protest action closes N2 near Harding
The road is closed between Izingolweni and Staffords Post near Harding.
Information just received indicates that the N2 is closed between Izingolweni and Staffords Post near Harding due to protest action.
The road is closed in the Nqabeni area before Thulagezi, with protesters burning tyres.
Motorists have been warned to reschedule travel plans in that area until further notice.
The Herald is awaiting an official statement from the police however police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane did confirm that the road is closed.
