Jai Hind grooms entrepreneurs

The objective of this project is to give them a 'hands on' experience of entrepreneurship.

Budding gr 7 entrepreneurs at Jai Hind Primary showcased their marketing skills at last week’s annual market day.

As part of their EMS curriculum, pupils are placed into groups and have to produce and market a product to show a profit.

The objective of this project is to give them a ‘hands on’ experience of entrepreneurship.

The activity promotes team work and a spirit of cooperation and demonstrates skills necessary to run a business.

Pupils and teachers were able to purchase from a wide range of products including toys, food, make-up and baked treats.

U13 soccer teams competed at two events last week.

A friendly soccer match was played against visitors Port Shepstone Primary.

Players gained valuable experience and refined their soccer skills.

The team played well in the Strini Moodley Memorial Tournament last weekend, but narrowly lost Merlewood Primary in the semi-finals.
