Uvongo Spar – Award is well-deserved

“It’s been a fantastic 10 years,” says Sohail Peerzada, owner of Uvongo Spar. “Even though we have had our challenges, it’s been hard work and I have to thank all the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to make sure our store is the best it can be.

“It came as quite a surprise when Uvongo Spar was announced as the Most Improved Store of the Year for 2019,” said Sohail. Although a store revamp was part of the criteria, this award was also based on growth statistics in terms of sales.

“But it was definitely well-deserved because staff pulled out all the stops to ensure their departments were at the top of their game,” he said with a smile. “I would also like to thank all our customers for their loyalty and continued support,” he added. “We are your local, family-owned and managed Spar in Uvongo and strive to make your time in our store as pleasant and fulfilling as possible.”
