KZN Burglar Proofing and Automation – A quality product ensures continued success

Krish Govender, the owner of KZN Burglar Proofing and Automation, initially started the company with only two staff members. He became involved with all the fabrication and installation work himself and as the company grew, more staff were employed. In January 2017 the company moved to its new premises to accommodate the growing business.

“Today, after 22 years in business, our success can be attributed to the fact that we are very particular about the quality of all our products and ensure that customers receive exceptional service,” said Krish.

The company offers security-related products, including CCTV cameras, electric fencing, access control and stainless steel fabrications such as gates, palisade fencing and burglar guards to carports.
It also produces custom-made gates in galvanised mild metal and stainless steel, as well as meranti, metal, fibreglass and aluminium garage doors as well as being an agent of Limax expandable security gates.

Grace Brick & Block – Company continues to forge ahead

One company that has made real strides in the building sector is Grace Brick and Block in Izotsha.
“In this male-dominated industry, you have to work that much harder,” says owner Sheila Moodley.
The company has grown tremendously and now boasts a fleet of vehicles to cope with the growing demand.

The block factory manufactures quality cement bricks and blocks and the company also delivers river or plaster sand and concrete stone or slabs. Other services include site clearing and rubble removal, as well as truck and TLB hire.

Chatterbox Pre-School – Moulding young minds for 30 years

Established in 1989, Chatterbox Pre-school is a Christian based, ISASA registered pre-school located in Shelly Beach which has been moulding the minds of children for 30 years. Owner Natalie Barclay who holds an honours degree in education heads up a team of qualified and experienced teachers.

“One of the best ways to assist in the future success of a child is to invest in the early years of their education,” she says.”The first three to five years in a child’s life plays an important part as they begin to absorb the world around them.”

Activities offered include music and drama, sports and movement, a junior builder programme, computer literacy and a lending library. Culinary Kids teaches children about food and cooking while Sprinkle and Splat allow them to explore colour, shape and texture. The school is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm.
