He leaves behind a tangible legacy of excellent community relations, professional networking, sound business and building infrastructure.

The school will forever value his leadership which has staff and pupils achieve excellence in both academics and sports.

He has overseen the establishment of an additional school hall, state-of-the-art computer laboratory and upgrading of the main school hall, which is open to the community for hire.

He further secured PSSP as a matric marking centre for many years, the funds from which kept the rise in school fees to a minimal – most appreciated by all parents and the SGB.

Through his visionary leadership, the school can handle water shedding without disruption.

Prior to his new appointment, he motivated the purchase of an industrial generator for the school in the event of load shedding.

During the transition, dedicated staff members will ensure that continued high standards are maintained.

Senior management responsibilities will be handled by acting principal Noel Baker and acting deputy principal Sumesh Moodley.

PSSP wishes Mr Appalraju all the best.
