Although there was no guest speaker at last week’s Tuesday Rostrum at Mbango Valley, Rostrum members were inspired to persevere in honouring women from all walks of life.

Bev Barker, who stood in for Tuesday Rostrum president Denise Millar, highlighted how women should inspire one another, how they should share each other’s stories and how using positive words when talking about one another helps with cultivating a better society. “Be gentle and kind to one another. Fix each other’s ‘crowns’ without telling the world that they were crooked,” said Ms Barker.
