Margate Moves: It’s almost time for Winter Wonderland and a saxadelic experience

The community hall is located behind the municipal offices.

‘Winter Wonderland’ featuring the talented duo of Vicky de Villiers and Calli Thomson will be staged at the Azalea Hall at Margate Retirement Village this Saturday (July 28).

Calli is a real ‘kitten on the keyboard’ and Vicky sure knows how to play both the sassy alto and tenor saxophone and they are outstanding vocalists too. The theme is ‘Christmas in July’ so patrons are in for treat with many well-loved traditional songs on the programme.

It is a supper theatre offering so pack a festive picnic basket and take along your own liquid refreshments.

Doors open at 6pm to give everyone enough time to enjoy their packed supper and the show begins at 7pm.

Tickets cost R70 per person and are on sale from the RAC or admin offices at the village. To book a table phone 039 3125000.
