Schools score at Creston tournament

Pupils enjoyed a wonderful morning of sport and entertainment.

A number of primary schools took part in Creston College’s annual soccer and hockey tournament last Saturday. Local schools were invited to this special event and pupils enjoyed a wonderful morning of sport. Entertainment like spin the wheel, mechanical swings, jumping castles, a photo booth and paintball kept everyone busy.

The tournament afforded an opportunity for pupils to showcase sporting prowess, learn important lessons about competition and enjoy a happy, healthy dose of fresh air.

Gr 3 classes have been busy helping keep the environment clean and delivered bags of collected shredded paper to be recycled.

Gr 11 pupil Waheed Amanjee will represent the African continent at a science convention in Turkey.

The Creston College Golf Day takes place on September 1 at the Port Shepstone Country Club. The day will be a premier golf day on the South Coast and a wonderful opportunity to support the school and advertise businesses.

Creston College is extremely proud of gr 11 science boffin Waheed Amanjee for flying the Creston flag high internationally. Waheed will represent Africa in Turkey.
