An accident earlier today has left 24 schoolchildren injured and one dead after a minibus taxi overturned.
The children were treated at the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

According to KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services, the accident occurred near the Mayfield creche in Sawoti.

The minibus taxi had carried both junior and high school learners.
