A man was shot and killed at Bingimbiza, near Hibberdene in the early hours of yesterday (Wednesday) morning, and his friend was gang-raped.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the 51-year-old man was at home when he heard his vehicle alarm activate.

“He went outside to check and was confronted by four men, who shot and killed him. They went into the house and demanded the keys to the vehicle from a woman who was visiting. One of the men then raped the woman.”
They told the woman to wash herself before taking her outside where all four men raped her again.
The men fled without taking the car.
