Amandawe has one less shooter to be concerned about following the arrest of a 37-year-old man.

Shockingly, this is the second shooter to plague the Amandawe area within the past week.

The apparent ‘revenge shooting’ took place lat Sunday.

The victim, a 40-year-old male, sustained a single gunshot wound to his back and the bullet exited through his chest.

The victim was attended to by paramedics when police arrived at the scene.

Investigations have revealed that this was a revenge shooting as the victim had allegedly attacked a family member of the accused,

The shooter later that evening handed himself over to the SAPS and has been identified as a security guard.

He will be appearing in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court.
