Margate Moves: Margate mops up

Some areas were also left without electricity and there was no water in parts of Ramsgate, however, it is unclear whether this was storm related.

HIGH winds reaching speeds of 120km/h and driving rain wreaked havoc on the South Coast last weekend. Many buildings, houses and motor vehicles were badly damaged, roofs were blown off, trees uprooted, trailers flipped over, garden walls toppled and many roads were blocked.

Some areas were also left without electricity and there was no water in parts of Ramsgate, however, it is unclear whether this was storm related.
