IMPORTANT NOTICE: N2 closed as Murchison protest looms

BOTH lanes of the N2 are closed from the Marburg KFC traffic lights towards Murchison due to service delivery protests.

The Murichson community is protesting about the delivery of RDP housing and various other issues.

According to police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, both lanes are closed at this stage, and motorists have been asked to use alternative routes.

Police are currently monitoring the situation.
