PORT Shepstone High played netball, hockey and rugby against Kokstad recently. The first netball team won 21-8 and the second team won 13-9.
The girls’ first hockey team won 3-1, the U16A team drew 0-0, the U14A team won 6-4 and the boys’ first team drew 2-2. The first rugby team won 39-10, the second team won 45-5 and the U14A team won 17-0.

The junior boys’ cross-country team competed against Clifton and Curro Hillcrest and won both meets comfortably. Philelinkosi Shozi was named the best overall runner of the day. At the golf games against Scottburgh, the first team won 4-0 and the U14A team won 17-0.
The chess team played against Merebank and Kuswag recently and won both their games 7-3 and 6-4 respectively. Siphelele Magxala was selected for the Ugu U18 chess team that will attend the KZN trials this coming weekend.
