Talking about the inaugural bike fest, event organiser Vicky Wentzel said the event was being held to provide a fun environment where people could enjoy quality food, music and all things bike-related.

It was also a fantastic opportunity for the various biking clubs to get together, share stories and generally exchange useful biking information.

The bike fest organisers will also host a meeting of the South African National Biking Council Alliance (SANBC) on Saturday, April 29, the day after the meet and greet.

At the meeting 13 council members from biking clubs from KwaZulu-Natal to Cape Town will meet to discuss any matters relating to biking in South Africa. These representatives will also attend the VIP presidents’ meet and greet.

The event site will also offer eight festival bars, 12 food trucks and onsite eateries and pubs.
