PSIS honours class of 2016

Dux awardee Mohammed Sohail Shaik will be studying optometry at UKZN.

PORT Shepstone Islamic School held its annual matric awards last Friday to honour the class of 2016.

Tireless efforts of current gr 12 pupils resulted in a splendid evening.

Matriculants and parents were treated to a seven course meal to celebrate hard work and success and each matriculant was presented with a gift from this year’s gr 12 pupils.

Certificates and trophies were awarded to pupils who achieved an A aggregate and subject distinctions. Dux awardee Mohammed Sohail Shaik will be studying optometry at UKZN.

Teachers Lutchmee Balagopaul and Evelyn Naidoo have joined the staff complement and Zubeida Bisesar and Sandipa Maharaj have assumed duties as teacher assistants in the foundation phase.

The school welcomes them and looks forward to sharing their experience. PSIS bids farewell to staff member of 18 years Yusuf Gangat, as well as Zuleika Moosa. Gratitude is extended to both teachers for enriching the school.
