Breaking: Ugu mayor dies

He had apparently been ill for some time.

Cllr Tolomane Myayiza (second from right) was named as Ugu District Municipality's new mayor in August this year.

REPORTS received indicate that Ugu mayor, Councillor Tolomane Mnyayiza, has died.

According to a WhatsApp received from ANC regional secretary Mzwandile Mkhwanazi, Cllr Mnyayiza died after an illness.
