A TEENAGER died after being stabbed in Ridge Road, Margate late last night,
Reports from Netcare 911 paramedics indicate that the 18-year-old was stabbed in the chest.
Paramedics found the teenager had died before their arrival.
A statement is awaited from the police.
In a separate incident, a 25 year old man is in critical condition after being stabbed outside a restaurant in Margate.
Reports indicate that a man had been found unresponsive by an off duty paramedics in Marine Drive. The man had a large laceration to the top of his arm.
Netcare 911 paramedics found that the patient had been resuscitated. He had a pulse and was breathing spontaneously.
The Netcare 911 Advanced Life Support paramedic and her team stabilised the man at the scene before they transported him to a hospital in Port Shepstone for the care that he required.
