Pupil raped en route to write exam

A PUPIL on her way to write an exam in Harding was dragged into the bushes and raped recently.

According to police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka, the victim (22) was followed by a man who threatened to kill her.

“He dragged her off the road, then pulled off her clothing and raped her,” said Captain Mfeka.

Harding detectives have arrested a 22-year-old man.

He appeared in court last Wednesday and the case was postponed for further investigation. He was denied bail.

The investigation continues.
