BREAKING: Shots fired in attempted hijacking
The motorist reported seeing a blue police light on the dashboard.
A PORT Shepstone man had a narrow escape a short while ago when he became the target of an attempted hijacking on the R61 between Ramsgate and Margate.
According to the motorist, the occupants of a white BMW opened fire on his vehicle.
Worryingly, the motorist added that there was a blue police light mounted on the dash of the BMW.
The incident was reported to Margate Police Station and a search in underway for the suspects.
