PARAMEDICS from various emergency response units rushed to an accident scene on the N2 south-bound in Umgababa last Friday morning.
Paramedics found that two light motor vehicles had been involved in a collision.
One vehicle was in the emergency lane while the other was found on the centre median.
A woman, thought to be in her 60s died in the accident.
She had been ejected from the vehicle and sustained multiple injuries. said said ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle, a man and a woman, were found to have sustained moderate injuries.
Both were treated and stabilised by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
