Update: Dave Middleton case postponed

He faces charges of rape and sexual grooming, involving two minors.

THE high-profile case of former Hibiscus Coast Municipality senior traffic officer, Dave Middleton, has been postponed to September 15 and 16.

The case was previously set down for Wednesday and Thursday this week, but had to be postponed due to Middleton’s advocate, Jimmy Howse’s involvement in another case in Pietermarizburg this week.

The Port Shepstone courts were also, once again, without water.

Mr Middleton was arrested in 2013 and was in prison for around 18 months before he was released on R30 000 bail. He faces charges of rape and sexual grooming, involving two minors.
