Step up for the SPCA
Businesses and individuals are challenged to donate blankets and food.
THERE is plenty going on at the Lower South Coast SPCA.
A group of businesswomen is challenging other businesses and individuals to better their generous donation of pet food and blankets. With winter here, the pets at the SPCA could do with warm blankets and towels. Tin or sachet cat food is also desperately needed.

A very successful clinic was held recently in the rural area outside Umzumbe. Trainee field officer Sabelo Ngcobo and assistant Tammy Nel worked hard and managed to see more than 50 pets, which received deworming, rabies vaccinations, dipping and minor treatments.

Most importantly, if you haven’t signed up to be a SPCA High 5 member, do so today!
For only R50 a month you stand a chance to win three prizes of R5 000 quarterly or the grand prize of R50 000 annually. The winner of this month’s quarterly prize is Janie Wilson.
Take note the first R50 000 annual draw will take place in December 2016. So join now!
Simply by completing the debit form you can give the SPCA a reliable monthly income which will greatly assist in its mission to educate the community, assist animals in the region and enforce the animal protection act.
To obtain the debit form, go to the SPCA’s Facebook page, or email support@spcalowersouthcoast.co.za or collect one from reception at the Shelly Charity Shop or SPCA premises in Uvongo, or contact the SPCA at 039 3120962 or 039 3173362.
