Update: Estate agent dies after accident
He was a well-known local businessman and will be missed.
WELL-KNOWN estate agent Hopson Shezi (53), from Hopson Properties in Port Shepstone, died yesterday (Thursday) morning.
Mr Shezi was in a serious condition in hospital following a car accident.
He was en route to Umtata on the N2 on April 4 when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, which then rolled.
Mr Shezi was taken to St Anne’s Hospital in Pietermaritzburg where he was admitted to ICU. Mr Shezi’s brother-in-law, TT Mkhize confirmed that Mr Shezi had died.
Mr Shezi was a prominent businessman on the South Coast. He was a board member of the South Coast Development Agency and South Coast Chamber of Commerce.
