UPDATE: Nanny faces kidnapping charges

THE  abducted Albersville siblings Muhammad Alli (3) and his two year-old sister Shabbeena said to be in good health.

The children were taken for a medical check-up after their ordeal.

Their nanny, Clodate Pylman (26), will appear in court today (Friday) on charges of kidnapping.

THE search for Albersville siblings Muhammad (3) and  Shabbeena (2) has had a happy ending.

The children were found by police in Louisiana at about 3pm this afternoon.

The community of Louisiana and the Louisiana CPF assisted in the search. The nanny has been detained for questioning.

The children’s relieved father, Harry Stone Alli, thanked everyone for their help in locating his children.

THE missing children have been identified as Muhammad (3) and Shabbeena (2).

According to the children’s father, Harry Stone Alli, when he arrived home at 4pm on Monday there was no sign of the nanny or the children.

“I thought they had gone to the shops. At about 5pm I become worried and contacted the police,” he said.

The nanny, Clodate Pylman, is said to be light complexioned and was last seen wearing short jeans and a black T-shirt.

Muhammad was wearing a yellow and blue striped T-shirt and Shabbeena a pink track suit.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Warrant Officer Rams Ramphul at 079 5001251 or their nearest police station.

ORIGINAL STORY: WEDNESDAY, 8.30AM

PORT Shepstone police have opened a case of kidnapping after two children from Albersville went missing on Monday this week.

According to information received, the nanny and the siblings, a girl (2) and a boy (3) were last seen walking towards Louisiana.

An official police statement is awaited.

If anybody has any information on their whereabouts they are urged to contact their nearest police station immediately.
