LAZER 911 director, Basil Lanka responded to a call one evening about a break-in and theft at a liquor store in Port Shepstone.
“We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the footage. The thief was as naked as the day he was born, helping himself to the merchandise,” says Basil. “We went looking for a naked man with several bottles of very expensive whisky but he got away.
“He probably thought the sensors wouldn’t pick him up if he was naked. Then again, he probably didn’t want cameras recording what he was wearing, or he could have used his clothes as a makeshift bag for what he stole.”
