Woman stabbed while fighting off intruder
One of the women woke up to find three men standing in her bedroom.
A WOMAN was stabbed in the chest by an intruder during a house robbery in Miami Road, Hibberdene last Saturday.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said that the two women in the house had gone to bed at about 9.50pm, but that one of them was woken by a noise at about 3am.
“She saw three men entering her bedroom and screamed,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
“Her friend, who was in the other room, heard the screams and came to her aid. They fought back and the friend was stabbed in the chest. The men fled with jewellery, food, a handbag and cellphones.”
The injured woman was taken to hospital.
