Get tested for Mandela Day
The aim is to offer health services to the community on how non-communicable diseases can be controlled and avoided.
PORT Shepstone Regional Hospital’s management and staff from the medical wards and eye clinic are inviting members of the public to a Nelson Mandela Day at the Port Shepstone Oribi Plaza (outside Pick n Pay) this Friday, July 17 between 9am and 11am.
Trained health care professionals will test body mass index, eyesight, blood sugar, blood pressure, and provide HIV counselling and testing.
The aim is to offer health services to the community on how non-communicable diseases can be controlled and avoided, to decrease the re-admission rate, to cut down on defaulters and thereby increase life expectancy.
