PETER Hudson, chairman of the Ramsgate Community Policing Forum advises that based on reported results, Ramsgate is one of the safest parts of the South Coast and that the RCPF has played a long-time role in this positive process.
Moving one step further forward, the RCPF has opted to proceed with the purchasing and installation of covert surveillance cameras in an effort to identify people and vehicles possibly involved in criminal activities such as housebreaking.
The RCPF has continuously experienced the fact that until you identify and catch a housebreaking criminal the person will continue to operate in the local area until identified and apprehended.
These cameras will therefore assist in this process and other crime prevention activities.
