DEAR Editor,-
Having just survived a very, very busy season I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the hard workers manning the Ugu Call Centre phones as well as Michael Mia from the sewerage department and the ‘honeysucker’ drivers and their assistants.
All were unfailingly cheerful, helpful and professional in spite of the fact that the whole world seemed to be on holiday.
In past years we have had endless problems of overflow from our conservancy tank, when I have spent hours on the phone trying to get it emptied on time. Not so this season. Phones were answered promptly and tankers despatched on time. Many thanks to the whole team.
