Drugs and cash on this fast-food menu

Heroin straws and Mandrax tablets were recovered.

A MAN was arrested at a fast food outlet in Port Shepstone on Tuesday this week for the possession of drugs and suspected stolen property.

The 31-year-old man was arrested by Port Shepstone K9 unit officers and Crime Intelligence officers at around midday.

“Constable Senzo Nzama and Cst Khethi Nkomo, together with Crime Intelligence officers,  arrested the man while he was  counting money,” said police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

A large sum of money, as well as 71 straws of heroin and 111 Mandrax tablets, were found in his possession. He is due to appear in court soon and investigations are continuing.
