A MAN is in a serious condition in hospital after he was found in Ridge Road, Uvongo with multiple stab wounds on Tuesday this week.
Netcare 911 paramedics found the man lying on the ground. He had been stabbed several times in the torso.
He was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said police had no record of a stabbing in Uvongo on Tuesday night.
“It’s possible that the man was stabbed elsewhere and attended to by a motorist or resident of Ridge Road, who then alerted the paramedics,” said Capt Mfeka.
