THE high-profile case of former Hibiscus Coast Municipality Protection Services senior traffic officer, Dave Middleton is currently underway at the Port Shepstone Regional Court.
The first witness, the mother of one of the children involved in the case, has been giving evidence as to what led to Middleton’s arrest.
Additional charges have been added, and Middleton now faces 35 charges including rape, sexual assault, sexual grooming of a child, display and exposure of child pornography and intimidation.
Middleton is represented by defence attorneys, Xolile Ntshulana and Jimmy Howse.
