Drugs and illegal liquor – two arrested

A 26-year-old woman was arrested for selling beer and dagga.

TWENTY NINE bottles of beer, 194 grams of dagga and 40 straws of heroin were recovered by the Port Shepstone Public Order Policing unit (POP) in two separate raids last Friday.

A 26-year-old woman will appear in Port Shepstone court today (Monday) after she was arrested at a shebeen in Border Road, Sea Park last Friday.

“She faces charges of dealing in liquor and dagga. The officers also arrested a 20-year-old man in Gamalakhe for dealing in heroin after he was caught with 40 straws of the drug last Friday morning,” said Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

The team also arrested three men for house breaking and theft in Port Shepstone last Friday. They will appear in court today.
