IN a nightmare attack, a 28-year-old man was assaulted and raped by three men in Bhobhoyi last Saturday.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the victim was on his way home at around 8pm when he was approached by three men.
“The armed men demanded he hand over his money and cell phone, which he refused to do. They then forced him into the bush, where they assaulted him with their fists before allegedly raping him,” said Lt-Col Wiid. She added that one of the men was identified by the victim.
The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit Port Shepstone is investigating. No arrests have been made as yet.
