The winning team was Central Grey SNR and the best skipper was Derek Johnson from Blue Marlin.
PENNINGTON Ski-boat Club hosted the Natal Game Fish Interzonals last weekend, for which 10 teams were selected.
Club chairman, Mark Davy explained that this competition afforded anglers the opportunity to achieve their KZN honours by showcasing their skills.
Even though the swells were large and there was a bit of rain and some strong winds, anglers still enjoyed tight lines and screaming reels.
The winning team was Central Grey SNR and the best skipper was Derek Johnson from Blue Marlin.
The best angler overall was Graham Doman.
Second place went to team South Central Jnr Grey and second place skipper was Mark Rossetenstein of boat Tel Aviv.
Third place went to team South Central Jnr White and third place skipper was Egg Hall of boat Iggy B.
In general fishing news, a few anglers put out a bait, with just a handful being lucky.
