Jiu-jitsu champion to host training session

This training system has been developed for lighter, slighter people to control strong or heavy attackers.

Two time world jiu-jitsu champion Vladimire Alves from Brazil will be holding an open day instruction in Ramsgate this Saturday (9th).

Participation is free, for those who want to take part and also for those who are only interested in finding out more at this stage about this particular martial art.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a ground-based fighting system that develops dominant body positioning skills, and is combined with specific joint locks and choke holds.

This training system has been developed for lighter, slighter people to control strong or heavy attackers.
