David Andrew Miller is a South African cricketer.

In South Africa’s T20 game against Bangladesh in Potchefstroom today (October 29) he smashed 101 off 36 balls.

His hundred came off 35 balls, which is a new T20 world record. The first 50 came off 23 balls; the second 50 off 12 balls.

He struck five sixes in one over.

1. He attended Maritzburg College.
2. He is an aggressive left-handed middle order batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler who plays domestic cricket for Knights.
3. He was born on June 10 in 1989 in Pietermaritzburg.
4. He made his ODI debut on May 22 in 2010 against the West Indies.
5. He made his T20 debut on May 22 in 2010 against the West Indies.
6. He is yet to make a Test appearance but many feel he should have by now.
7. Major teams he has played for include: South Africa, Dolphins, Durham, Kings XI Punjab, KwaZulu-Natal, KwaZulu-Natal Inland Under-19s, South Africa A, South Africa Academy, South African Schools, St Lucia Zouks, World-XI, Yorkshire.
