Chloe bats her way to the top

The talented young woman says she is 'living the dream'.

CHLOE Tryon from Ifafa Beach currently plays for the Momentum Proteas Women’s Cricket Team. Her indisputable cricket skills have led her to the top, handing her amazing opportunities and travel experiences.

The 21-year-old says, “I held my first bat at the age of three and since then I haven’t put it down.”

Chloe attended Pennington Primary and Scottburgh High, matriculating in 2011.

One of the biggest highlights of her career (so far) was winning the series against India last year. She hopes to travel some more, doing the sport that she loves and teaching young girls about women’s cricket.

Doing what she loves and getting to see the world, Chloe really feels she’s living her dream. As a person who loves meeting new people and learning different cultures she couldn’t be more content. She doesn’t only play cricket, she loves the ocean and always has, since she lives right on the beach.

The local shares: “It’s such an amazing feeling, playing for your country and having such amazing support.”
