Volleyball season winds down

No late entries will be accepted.

THE final schools’ volleyball knockout tournament takes place at the Marburg Sports Complex this Saturday, August 17.

This marks the end of a relatively short season and tournament entries have already closed, with draws and fixtures already drawn up by the tournament organising committee. In view of this being a pre-entry event, no late entries will be entertained.

The tournament starts at 8am with the primary schools’ section and 10.30am for the secondary schools.

In the primary schools’ section U12 and U14 divisions will be contested and in the secondary schools’ section, U16 and O16 divisions will be contested.

Schools are urged to settle entry fee of R80 per team before the tournament commences.

In the primary schools’ division, schools like Marburg Primary, RA Engar, Hlanganani, Jai Hind and Merlewood Primary are expected to battle for top honours.
