From the Bowling Greens

News and results from South Coast bowling clubs.

KINGFISHER BA
Terrance McGlynn is having a wonderful season on the bowling greens, and it continued last weekend when he teamed up with Timothy Woolley to win the KBA men’s pairs for 2024.

In an engaging final at Port Shepstone Country Club, the two Riverside players saw off the threat from clubmates André Maulgue and Ferro van Greunen to win the trophy.

The women’s section was won by Eileen Burt and Helen Proctor of Southbroom.

They defeated clubmates Julie Walker and Lynn Faure.

Sharing third place (losing semi-finalists) were Mike Dennison/Mally Gouws (Widenham) and Pat Symcox/Johan Labuschagne (Umdoni Point)
In third place were Lindi Samuel/Elize Duvenage (Hibberdene) and Charmaine van der Westhuizen/Sandy van Niekerk (The Bell).
