Victory for Sheppie High’s chess star

Port Shepstone High congratulates Ndumiso Sibiya of Grade 10 on his first-place victory in the U16 category at the recent Royal KwaZulu-Natal chess tournament in Pennington.
Ndumiso’s win is a significant accomplishment that showcases his potential as a young chess player; where after five rounds of intense matches, he successfully took the lead position in his age group.
This is a testament to his hard work, preparation and ability to think critically under pressure. His win also reflects the quality of chess instruction and support available at the school.
