Invite to new Maha Mariamman Temple

Most South Coast temples will observe Sri Ganesha Chaturthi this Saturday.

The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple invites all to the celebration of their newly-built Maha Mariamman Temple on the premises this Sunday (8th) from 10:30.

Various temple organisations and service groups will be taking part and rendering bhajans dedicated to the Divine Mother Shakti. Lunch and prasadam will be served.

The temple will also observe its annual Sri Ganesha Chaturthi prayer this Saturday (7th). It will commence with hawan from 15:00, followed by a service. Devotees are welcome to bring their offerings, as well as a coconut for the prayer. Supper and prasadam will be served.

* The Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society will observe Sri Ganesh Chaturti this Saturday (7th) at 15.30 for 16:00. The officiating priest is Pundit Peeush Krishna Kumar Mishra.

Pithar Paksh starts on September 17 and ends on October 2, which is followed by Navaratri from October 3 to October 12.

* Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir, lower Albersville, invites all to its Shree Ganesha Chaturdashi this Saturday (7th) from 15:00. Invocation prayer, recitals, hawan and bhajans will be performed.
