Umdoni operational again
All offices, libraries, vehicle licencing offices and Umzinto testing ground were operational from Monday this week.
Umdoni Municipality announced last Friday that it has reached an agreement with its employees.
As per a statement released by Umdoni’s communications team, it was announced that Umdoni employees will resume duty with immediate effect.
“This was a unanimous agreement after deliberations between the employer and employees that concluded with an agreement of resumption of all municipal operations.”
All offices, libraries, vehicle licencing offices and Umzinto testing ground were operational from Monday this week.
Residents were also relieved to see refuse collection services finally operational once again.
