Witnesses sought in hit-and-run
Police are looking for witnesses to come forward regarding the accident.
A culpable homicide case has been opened for investigation after a hit-and-run incident on Nelson Mandela Drive near Umbango, Port Shepstone on August 10.
Police found the body of a 39-year-old man who had been hit by a vehicle. It is alleged that a taxi was travelling to Port Shepstone CBD when the pedestrian allegedly tried to cross the road.
Witnesses are requested to contact Port Shepstone Detective Service on 039 6812366.
The deceased has not yet been officially identified.
