Fun times at Hlanganani

The school had a successful Anything But a School Bag Day.

Hlanganani Preparatory School did its bit for the 67 minutes for Mandela Day by picking up the litter outside the school and in the nearby community.

The learners also collected an impressive stockpile of tinned and dried food to be donated to the feeding schemes.

Well done to all grades for doing their part to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

The school had a successful Anything But a School Bag Day last Friday.

The classrooms were filled with things that looked very out of place. Instead of backpacks, learners brought laundry baskets, shopping carts, desk drawers and plastic bags.

Each learner in the class seemed to have a more creative idea than the next.

The U11 and U13 boys and girls soccer teams visited Creston College last week for friendly soccer matches.

The learners showed great teamwork and dedication. Well done to all the learners and to the coach and principal for making sure the learners are transported to and from Creston. The school also thanks Creston College for the invitation.
