Widenham Retirement Village recently hosted a golf day at Selborne Park Golf Club.
Winners on the day were Marena Joseph (women) on 34 points and Arlo Poole (men) on 44 points.
Overall, the golfers enjoyed cool weather and a course in pristine condition. It all made for a fantastic day of golf.
Thanks were extended to Stan Sim, Alistair Eyres and Eddie Mathews for their meticulous work in calculating the results and to Derek Hodge for efficiently managing the fines.
The various sponsors were also thanked.
In other golf, resident Steffi Podmore had a hole-in-one on the 13th at Umkomaas Golf Club recently.
